Creating a space where clients can feel comfortable, cared for, and completely themselves is one of Julia Ploth’s favorite parts of being a hairstylist. Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Julia loves that her career gives her the chance to form real connections with the people in her chair while helping them walk away feeling beautiful and confident.
Julia graduated from the Aveda Institute Orlando and began her career behind the chair in October 2025. She joined The Beauty Edit in September 2026, excited to continue developing her craft and building a clientele of her own. Graduating from cosmetology school is an accomplishment she is especially proud of, along with the work ethic that helped her turn her interest in beauty into a career.
Family has always played an important role in Julia’s life. Her mom and the rest of her family continue to inspire her, along with the goals she has set for her future. That motivation shows up in the way she approaches her work, always looking forward to what she can learn, create, and accomplish next.
Outside of the salon, Julia loves spending time at Disney, heading to the beach, shopping, and getting together with friends and family for a fun dinner or brunch. She brings that same outgoing, welcoming personality to the salon and is excited to meet new clients, hear their stories, and have plenty of new gorgeous faces in her chair.
